FAQ about my stories What was your first story?      Chilly Little Charlie was the first story I wrote.  Now it is the first story on my first CD:  Wake the Imagination - Click on the link to learn more.  As I continue to update my website, I will add more about the story behind each story.   Where do your stories come from?      All of my stories are inspired by young children, the toys they play with, the people they know, the places they visit and most importantly the imaginations they have.  My favorite stories to write are based around a few facts I know about a child.  Once I have the overall framework, I start making things up.  Sometimes the story leads me to the rhyme and sometimes the rhyme leads me to the story.  I love the creative process. Where do you perform?      During the school year, I perform primarily at schools, libraries and private homes near our apartment at Concord Academy in Concord, MA.   You can find me weekly at The Milldam School, The Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden and at The Trail's End Cafe.  Check the calendar for details.      During the summer, I travel to Cape Cod and can be found occasionally at the Cape Cod Children's Museum in Mashpee, MA.      I also perform at storytelling festivals and other events.   What are your future plans?     I continue to write a new story for every birthday party at which I perform.  I've also had a great time recording my first story CD and will soon be starting a second story CD project.   And finally I plan the  additional challenge of recording a music CD for my youngest audience.
