Building with Blocks
Good to Be Four

This isn’t a block but rather instead
It’s a whole lot of brains inside of a head
And soon all those brains will make their demands
They’ll ask for some arms and a couple of hands

Then each of the hands will find food oh so yummy
And so they’ll insist that you build on a tummy
And once it’s well fed then you’ll have to make haste
As soon as you can you must build on a waste

Then so this new person can walk down the street
You’ll need to add legs and a couple of feet
And because it can walk it will go to the store
To get you some blocks so you can build more.

There’s a whole lot to do and much more to pretend . . .
