the Boston Public Library Rabb Hall. On Saturday, February 15th from 9:30am to 4:30pm storytellers will make you laugh, sing and think. Sponsored by Massmouth Inc. Tim is leading a workshop from 10:00 - 11:00. "From Play To Page" is for fans interested in working on their own story ideas. Tim's main stage story slot is at 11:50am Alcott PTG Monster Mash: Tim heads to Alcott Elementary School in Concord to take part in this favorite family event where he will tell some Not So Scary Stories - October 24th 7:00pm Belmont Day School: Bring your toddlers and pre-schoolers on three different Saturdays at 10:30 am to hear Tim tell and sing his original stories and songs. This series is free and open to the public. Dates include: Saturday, February 8th; Saturday, March 8th; and Saturday, April 5th. The Free Family Concert Series in the spring of 2014 was a huge success. Belmont Day School has expanded the program for 2014-2015 to run October - March with 6 different children's musicians. Tim will start it off with a free family concert at 10:00am on Saturday, October 11th. Birthday Parties: Charles and Finn are turning two. Tim will be at their house in Concord on Saturday, January 11th. Tessa and Ian are turning three. Tim will be at the Trails End Cafe in Concord on Saturday, January 18th. Benjamin is turning four. Tim will perform for his friends and family at the Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord on Saturday, June 22nd. Cape Cod Children's Museum - Free Fun Friday Concert - July 11th at 11:00 am No Admission all day thanks to a grant from the Highland Street Foundation. This museum in Mashpee, MA is a great place to visit while you are on Cape Cod. My 5 year olds love playing in the submarine and on the giant ship that is the centerpiece of the museum. I'll be in the castle where I have been singing and telling stories since my 9 year old was a toddler. Children's Music Network (CMN): On Sunday, January 12th Tim will host a song swap for his fellow teachers and children's performers at his home at Concord Academy. Participants will bring songs that encourage young audience members to get up and dance. He looks forward to swinging, stomping and strutting around while singing with his friends and colleagues in children's entertainment. Local families are welcome to join. RSVP to tim@frompagetoplay.com On Saturday, February 8th from 4:00-7:00pm, Tim will host a second song swap / pot luck in Concord, MA for his colleagues in children's music. The theme for February is "Let's Play". Bring a song with the word "play" in the lyrics and share it with the group. RSVP to tim@frompagetoplay.com On Saturday, February 22nd Tim will be in Washington DC at a song swap for mid-atlantic CMN memebers. The gathering will be from 2:00-5:00 in the SOW Meeting Room at the Southwest Neighborhood Library, 900 Wesley Place SW, Washington DC 202-724-4752. CMN welcomes all interested in joining the comaraderie of our membership. Tim is also excited to be involved in the planning of the Annual Conference to be held in Arlington, MA on Saturday, March 22nd. The conference will start with registration at 8:30am and will include a Keynote address by Steve Roslonek (SteveSongs), workshops by CMN members and a Round Robin concert for all participants who would like to share a song. Closing remarks will be at 5:00pm. Check the CMN website for registration information and updates. Tim heads to Leesburg, VA for the CMN National Conference September 19th - 21st where Ruth Pelham will be honored with The Magic Penny award. Tim will lead a Saturday morning workshop for songwriters looking for new inspiration called "From Play To Page." Tim has joined the CMN Board of Trustees and in this new role he will take charge of the Sunday afternoon conference wrap-up with new songs from new members and other words of inspiration. City of Revere Recreation Department: Tim will be outside at 10:30am on Friday, August 15th at Costa Park to share stories and songs with the neighborhood kids. There will be recreation staff on site throughout the day and pizza will be served after the concert. Concord Academy Alumni Reunion Weekend: Tim will be on hand to share stories and songs for children of alumni at the annual reunion weekend. He will perform from 10:45 - 11:45 on Saturday, June 7th. Concord Integrated Pre-School: On Friday, February 28th from 5:30 - 8:00 it's "Hats of to Reading." Tim will be part of the fun performing stories and songs for the preschool families at this Family Fun Night. "Your never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child" - Dr. Seuss On Thursday, July 22nd Tim will be "Here To Play" with Luke and his classmates. Tim will focus on songs that include movement, laughter and play to help children with all abilities engage in and enjoy the performance. El Tamarindo: - Tim will be in Washington DC on Saturday, April 26th at this family restaurant to perform for a morning crowd of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers. Kidcasso Art Studio - On Thursday, December 11th, Tim will travel to Wakefield for a "Here To Play" CD release party. he will sing some of his new hits as well as some traditional favorites for this group of infants, toddlers and their caregivers. KindieCOMM: Tim will be heading to Philadelphia June 28th-29th to sing and network with other children's musicians. He is looking forward to joining Dan Zanes, Barry Louis Polizar and Trout Fishing in America at this weekend conference. Milldam Nursery School: Back for his 8th year, Tim sings traditional and original songs with the children of this cooperative pre-school in Concord, MA. Mondays you can find him laughing, joking and singing with 2, 3 and 4 year olds. On Thursdays he ramps it up a notch with the 4 and 5 year olds. National Children's Museum: Tim will perform on Thursday, February 20th at 11:00am. Stories from "Wake the Imagination" and songs from his upcoming album, "Here To Play" are weaved together with an important message about the growth and development of all children. Tim will share how imagination and play are integral in the lives of his three sons but most significantly for his son with cerebral palsy. The February Vacation week performance was such a big hit that Tim and his family headed back to DC and the National Children's Museum for an encore performance during April Vacation Week on Thursday, April 24th. South School Andover: Back for his 7th year - On Wednesday, February 26th Tim will return to this elementary school to share his stories and songs with the morning and afternoon kindergarten classes. West Falmouth Library Family Concert - Tuesday, July 15th @ 11:00am Wake the Imagination by joining me on Cape Cod this summer. Tickets can be purchased at the Library in advance or by calling the library at (508) 548-4709. The cost is $2 per person. Seat reservations are required. |
